Death is a terrible, terrible thing. It's horrible to have to deal with. And knowing one is dead is bad enough, but witnessing the entire process is devastating. It's scarring. To watch someone's body go from life to lifeless... it's horrifying. To see someone's eyes roll back in their head as they fight for their last moments... it's crushing. In

Ashley~ My mom told me of your grandfather and I've been thinking about your family. I know it's extremely difficult to watch a loved one slip away from the life we know it. Hang on to prayer and the certainty that your grandpa will be going to heaven to watch over your family with the angels.

If there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to get in touch. Your grandpa loves you and will forever be a part of your hearts. He was such a sweet man and meant so much to many. Hugs hon. We love you!

Thank you. My grandfather passed away this morning around 8:15 am. He died peacefully, and I am relieved for he is no longer suffering. Honestly, I know he is the one mourning for us. He is mourning that he has beaten us to Heaven; that he gets a new body and joy while we fight our tears. I've learned a lot this past week, and even though it was hard, I am thankful for it.
