Go with Optus. They're pretty good and shouldn'y you be able to get a new contract phone thingo? Worse comes to worse you can have you're old phine back or take the one before the one I have now until you think of something.....

That or go to a hock shop/pawn shop and see if you can buy a good handset for cheap.

this is absolutely nothing to do with the fact that i work for Telstra. I just dont personally believe in buying phones on contract. Phones have a 12 month warranty generally, the contract generally 24 months. Phones go faulty/get lost/stolen/drowned long before 24 months is up, but conveniently just out of warranty. If you buy the thing outright, you shouldnt have issues owing anyone anything if anything does go wrong. Thats just my personal mobile phone buying philosophy, though. How crap would I be if I were a Salesperson ! Heh ! Sorry it doesnt help in your present situation. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Yeah going to buy a phone outright from work (cost price) and then go on vodafone $49 prepaid which gives mucho credit

get me to buy a nice cheap phone over here and get insurance on it wheni get back through indepened insurance broker ... umm that would cost u howveer much the new phone is.. then insurance..
