the cactus April gave me for Christmas has, like, new leaves on it. this means not only have I gone 6 months without killing something, but I am actually nurturing it. I think. this could be a first.

My sister gave me a lucky bamboo about a week ago and I have managed to keep it alive so far... I hear those are pretty hard to kill.
