When I first read it, I thought of the cheese one relates to flesh, the sagging, the wrinkly dimples and creases, basically the wasteland left behind when one loses a lot of weight, regains it, and loses it again. Re #5...MY Mom had one shaped like a tomato; still has it, as far as I know.

A tomato makes more sense for a pincushion, as far as I'm concerned. Round is a godly shape and it allows for neat distribution. I'm guessing that you can probably hold a tomato pincushion in one hand. Perhaps the length of the watermelon rind is what compelled me to want to wring it in both.

The interests you did were pretty straightforward. I wish I could call people out on some of their more senseless interests, but (to me) it would seem rude, like asking for the story behind a missing or unsightly body part. I think I respect userinfos that don't change so frequently because I've always held it to be the concrete part of the journal, while the entries reflect the many changes. I would dare everyone to explain their vague interests. I believe that people who are yet alive shouldn't be so ambiguous.

I consider this a challenge to write an equally good interests meme.

Do you remember when the Micro Machines guy did a guest spot on Saved By The Bell as one Mr. Testaverde? I used to think that was so cool.

He was on I Love the 80s 3-D this week. Not surprising since Vh-1 is where minor celebrities go to die.

I don't have cable, so if I want to see celebrities die, I have to watch Hollywood Squares.

momaflage, this is an excellent way of putting it, my mom has lupus so I must be a perfect angel all the time because I don't want her face to turn red and her die of kidney failure.

I didn't coin it. I forgot where I picked up that word, but that happens a lot, because I enjoy browsing through many a silly glossary. Or maybe it came out of some of the crap I occasionally read for amusement in between actual books. Possibly The Hipster Handbook.

I am shocked and intrigued there is an actual Hipster handbook
