What is wrong with "in chemistry?" You took the Chem AP exam. It was an AP exam (covering material) in (the field of) chemisty. People can shorten things without losing their meaning.
What is wrong with "field of chemistry?" I can't even fathom why you think this is wrong.
"We, as a faculty?"
"Help you obtain these goals?" You is the subject. Obtain is the verb. Seems okay with me.
