A recent facebook post by a friend talked about a local Hastings store closing where he lives. Hastings is a chain of large media stores, somewhat similar to Barnes & Noble (which is going away entirely), with videos for rent/sale, music, and books and magazines. My friend thought that Hastings is suffering from competition from the likes of

While I don't think it will go to that extreme, I do think that makes everything supremely inconvenient for those without computers, or those who don't like using those stupid internet enhanced phones
