We are preparing to leave on our expedition. Though I had intended to leave earlier, upon further reflection I felt that a brief delay was in order so that we might ensure ourselves a meal. Being trapped in a helicopter for an extended period of time with a hungry Reno is not an experience I would wish on anyone

Alcohol... I think we have that in Spira, but not in vast quantities. You can't pick it up from a store where I come from, at least. I know Sir Auron might have had some in the jug he always carried, but I never asked.

I hope not, Mr. Rufus. I wouldn't like to see you get hurt on my account, so yes I shall watch you if that's okay.

Ah, Rufus. I apologise for being out of contact, there were.. certain things that caught my interest. I have been wandering the town and areas around it, and almost got sent ahead to a place called Tokyo for a while, but.. yes, I am certain I am quite absolutely back in Kalm.
