I actually rented the movie a few days ago because I happened to see your fic, and I'm glad I watched it :D

Although it was a good movie I have to say I MUCH prefer your ending - I think it keeps intact the core theme of the film, which was the bond between Danny and Bryan.

Awesome! I agree that it was a great movie but after watching it and seeing them leave Bryan behind it just broke my heart.
