Apparently not only do trees grow in Brooklyn; they fall, too - Via A TORNADO that ripped through last night during rush hour!

Hope everyone in the NY Metro Area is OK. I realize most people will still have their power out mary_wroth capricornia penpusher lawnrrd benmech faeriegigi (Hope Tom's commute was OK!) marcydawns and anyone else whom I may have missed - Hope you and your homes/children/automobiles/

Everyone's fine. I don't think we lost power at all; at least, the nanny didn't say anything about having lost power when I called, and everything was fine when I got home.

My son said that we had a "rain tornado", though. When I asked what that was, he said it's when you get some much raid that it looks like a tornado.

We are good, Tom hasn't been in NYC for awhile now. He is only 5min form home :)
