VP debate

Palin didn't really say anything, but she said it well.

EDIT - More accurately, Palin won on delivery but Biden won on content.

I think her delivery was a lot better than it has been lately, but she still seemed very rehearsed, as if she was ignoring the questions and going back to talking points. This was the big issue with her pre-Katie Couric and while she was impressive, she did not dispel that.

I thought Biden was REALLY good. I kept expecting him to say something fundamentally stupid, but he didn't and there were a few points where he was poignant and on target.

I agree she was extremely rehearsed - it was the only way she could possibly get through the whole debate. And after Biden's moment where he choked up, she sounded even more like a mannequin.

But, she did the (annoying) cutesy, folksy, etc. attitude that somehow resonates with a lot of people.

Biden impressed me because I was expecting him to provide a few more gaffes, but he was pretty restrained, focused, on message. And he was very, very solid on the foreign policy portion without making a laundry list of Places He's Been To like McCain did.
