That's some pretty profound stuff there... amazing (in a good way) to hear that the compulsion vanished! As for walking, more power to ya! I s'pose I'll be doing that eventually, or something like it. For now, work keeps my bod pretty active.
I'd also suggest rowing exercises for ya, to keep back muscles strong.

*chuckle* Speaking of my back, I've had some significant lower back pain for over a month now, which is something that's never been an issue for me before. Oh well, it'll go away eventually, I'm sure. (I hope.) :-)

Nice to hear and congrats in a sense :) I need to do these things too, especially quitting drinking. Luna and Ki and I walk quite a bit in the evenings and weekends.

It's kind of sad that one reason I started these long walks is because Zigzag started refusing his, and I had to get my exercise somehow. So now I go on my own most of the time. Poor old fella. *sighs*
