I think you’ve got a typo here, I’m assuming you meant fingers:
Still most just protect the ends of forgets and toes.

I liked the summation of human innovation being based on better hunting, fighting, and hurting. Seems like a random grab detail, like you could have mentioned anything humans replaced for their nails, but that one seems particularly at the root of humanity.

I liked your entry for this week. My favorite part was the beginning. I enjoyed that it started off as a back and forth between your narrator and someone else. Well done!

For some reason, it was the line "modified pegs" near the end that grabbed me and I kept ending up back there as I read through again.

The overall form of this was fun, playful.
