packing list for Chicon

This is my packing list for the Worldcon in Chicago this year. It will be hot and humid, and I plan to spend the whole weekend indoors if possible. The hotel is connected to the Illinois Center which has places to eat. In-room internet is $10 a day unless we get a deal before then. I plan to plug in my router and leave it open

This has been briefly discussed on the staff list.

Unfortunately, most of the places in the Illinois Center will either be closed for the weekend (Sat-Mon), or will close early on Saturday and be closed on Sunday and probably Monday.

Most of the ones that I have found hours for are open for lunch (some for breakfast), and close early during the week, and are closed on the weekend. They cater to the businesses in the building.
