I listened to some of his songs in his Yellow Gold Tour. I had to watch the videos with lyrics to understand because most were recorded during the concert and, let's admit it, Jin's enunciation isn't all that clear. And some songs made me go "Huh?" Not actually senseless (well, okay, some were, like "Inebriation from this alcohol got me intoxication, you got me swerving from this hurt. And from my cup I’m taking sips. And like a hundred dollar bill, I could pay for one-on-one and drink. Walking out with lotsa ya. Wanna take a shot with ya. Yeah, there’s the women, never take my eyes off of ya. Shots got me feeling free. And I'd really love to see us holding hands and heading down the street.
I've been more than tipsy and even in my worst drunken state I would not have come up with that (and I'm not a songwriter). But I digress and this is a Jin loving post.
My point is, Body Talk is a song that I feel Jin wrote from his heart (and this is not my delusional akame fangirl speaking). It's not one of those Wonder rip-offs (I love Jin's Wonder), no auto tune crap and no streetcred word lyrics i.e. groovin'. And when Jin's not being weighed down by crummy lyrics and blah melodies, his voice is at its best. I actually like Jin for his music, his moves and his voice.
And these lines: I said I love you, said I love you, said I love you. I still can't find any other words than "I Love You". Let our bodies do the talking. Oh yeah, Jin! Let us! So so far sexier than Lovejuice.
Now, this is where my Akame fangirl delusion went Yeehaw!: For us to feel each other's hearts at the "right place". I guess this is why god made us like this and And this is why God made your hands like this (I'm thinking jazzy fingers here).
Okay, that's it. I'm actually writing a fic that's why I'm channeling Jin and then I got distracted. Darn, AD
