I did! And I just... do not even know how to feel about that.
I did finally watch Heroes all the way through to the end in... 2011, I think. Late that year. And it was so strangely bittersweet. That show had one of the strongest first seasons of anything I have ever seen, and I think the higher-ups at NBC just fucked it up so bad. And now a lot of the cast have just sort of moved on with their lives.
Now, if they do with this what they didn't have the balls t do the first time--really make it anybody can die and actually bring in new and interesting people and be willing to let go of some characters--maybe, maybe it would e interesting to watch, but how could they actually call it Heroes?
I don't think the original cast is strictly necessary. It could be done in the wake of Claire's stunt at the end of season four, and reference the original cast and maybe have some cameos. But maybe they'll have learned from their mistakes (and just make new ones).
Or maybe I just want to be hopeful because really, aside from Criminal Minds and Elementary, there's not much on TV that I enjoy.
