Disney is notoriously difficult to get a job with. Make sure your dance skills are up! Also, I've known a few people who got cast in major Disney character roles for their shows - you're sooooper in luck because they prefer women who are shorter than average, at least in Florida.
Okay, looking through this site some more, it doesn't actually have any information on auditions (that I can immediately find.) The "Cast Door" thing actually means that all employees are called "cast" of the Disney Corporation.
Looking at it, working there requires a few things: you have to have lived in Japan for a year, including the last six continuous months, and you need to be a permanent resident, a "special permanent resident (whatever that is)," married to a citizen or permanent resident, or a study abroad student who is approved to work. Also, you must be able to work exclusively in Japanese - all training, manuals, and customer interaction is expected to be nihongo de.
Again, all of this is for people who work the rides and things. Not sure where to look for actual performance jobs.
Thanks for looking. Yeah, all I saw was people to work the rides and such. Which I could do but, I prefer not too. Especially since all the information and such I would only get in Japanese. I found out though some research that they actually hire foreigners from the Disney in the states. The Disney website for that stuff though is saying, "Tokyo coming soon". So, maybe they will post stuff there in a couple months or so and I can try to get that way.
And yeah, I know Disney is HARD to get into. But, I just don't know what else to do at this point. I need to have somebody support my visa.
And thanks for looking for me and giving me a lot of information.
