Your Mom also grew up in a time where being the domesticated house wife was more socially acceptable, and preferred. Now most people have caught onto the whole "Women's Movement" idea and are more accepting of women working full-time, and not just being baby machines who wait on their husbands hand and foot.

I guess your Mom isn't one of those people...

But think of it this way - just another 4 months and you are out of there! And even this summer it's not like you are home much, so just try to stick it out.
