Goals update, end of December

Here's December's update - the year-long retrospective to come. Or not. We'll see!

HOUSE
- have no started-but-not-finished projects by Thanksgiving 2011
This was a great goal.

- maintain a list of todos, and work on at least one every week (forward progress, not necessarily finished). Track via googledocs.
I didn't keep my list updated this month - most of the free time was spent doing Christmas preparations. However, since I was off work the week after Christmas, I did a big push in my sewing room:
* Installed last pieces of baseboard
* Painted all the trim (2 coats)
* Painted the walls (2 coats)
* Made curtains
* Covered one of the cushions in the "nook" (other one is about 75% done)

- remove two units of "extra stuff" from the house each month (where unit roughly equates to a 13 gal trash bag/bankers box/equivalent). Track for entire year.
For this month, it was again a lot of scraps out of the basement/etc. 6 units total: 3 of basement scraps, 1 of clothes, 1 old stereo, 1 fabric scraps/projects that will never get finished. Year's total: 87. (January - 9, February - 2, March - 5, April - 3, May - 3, June - 18, July - 8, August - 6, September - 5, October - 3, November - 19, December - 6).

HOBBIES
- Sew enough clothes that 1/3 of wardrobe is self-made (or significantly altered)
Not a ton of personal/clothes sewing going on - a lot more in the way of Christmas presents and home decorating stuff. Done: another pair of jeans and two knit tops, one of which I lurrrvee and have been wearing as soon as it gets washed, hah.

- Start golfing consistently at/below 45/side
Golf? what's that?

MISC
- Replace Jason's car, with no loan
Just waiting on him to decide he's ready to do it.

- Add one good habit/month. Track with daily calendar/stars. December: "do something nice/enjoyable/relaxing" every day.
Managed it most days, and it definitely helped with the stress level.
