If we never meet again I might not be okay,
For who you are and what you’ve done is part of me today.
Separated, out of reach, I might just fall apart
You gathered up a million shards and gave me back a heart.
But if we never meet again I’ll hold every memory dear
Never out of sight or mind, every memory crystal clear.
I’d remember just to laugh a little each and every day
You were the one who taught me that
In your subtle way.
If we never meet again the sun might never shine
But every stormcloud’s silver edge might be easier to find.
