Any anime geeks on here on Tsuki-Board or MyAnimeList? They're actually quite fun, Tsuki-Board is a way to show off your figures, and MyAnimeList is a way to show off what anime you've seen. This is also known as: A way to show off my gigantic internet geek penis. See also: my lack of a social life. XD If you're on either one of these sites, add me ( Read more... )

One of these days, I will go to fanime again. But somehow even in highschool after the one time we went, the odds were never in my favor and for some reason or other I never got to go, and now that i'm in college and barely ever go back to California anyway (and of course i'm in Germany right now anyway) I still haven't gone to fanime since that one time. Kumoricon and Sakuracon are fun, but it would be cool to see what Fanime is like these days (after all, the one time I went, it was still small enough to be held in a hotel, remember?)

I am so excited to see the Prince of Persia movie, and I never even played the game. I didn't recognize Jake Gyllenhal in the trailer, weirdly enough, I just thought "ok, I KNOW that actor from somewhere." But then saw that it was Jake Gyllenhal when it said his name. XD

*is looking forward to Japan part 2*

Fanime has changed A LOT! It's huge now! Man back when you went when it wasn't that great, they didn't have nearly as much going on and the security people were ridiculous. Now it's gigantic, more than 18,000 peeps were there last year, I think it's become either the 2nd or 3rd most populated anime cons in the US now, people fly from all over. It's crazy! I've never been to Kumoricon or Sakuracon, but I saw your posts about them and they look like they're a lot of fun too. Do they have any anime cons in Germany? That would be really interesting if they do, haha.

I'm really hoping that the Prince of Persia movie is going to be good! It certainly does look good from the previews, so here's hoping /crosses fingers. I know what you mean, Jake Gyllenhal all buff looks like a different person, I didn't recognize him at first either XD

I use MyAnimeList since it's a good way for me to remember all the stuff I've watched and to keep track of what I still need to watch XD

For manga, though, I use Baka-Updates Manga since I've read so much yaoi sometimes I don't remember what I've already read, lol.

I've heard of Baka-Updates.. but to be honest, for some reason I always thought it was just another site for downloading scanslations so I never checked it out XD

I'm loving the fact that you can browse titles by genre, this'll definitely help with finding some new manga to read ♥ Thanks for the link!

Haha yeah, I also like how it lists the popular ratings while browsing which makes it easier for me to find better quality manga :D
