You're hoping for only four years of Obama? Why not eight!! Hehehe it's going to be an interesting couple weeks watching the Republican party implode. Check out this website for lots of great statistics and polls about the election:
Right now, they're predicting that McCain has a 4.9 percent chance of winning the election. Four-point-nine. Percent. Out of one hundred. After tonight's debate, this is Obama's election to lose.
[nervous chuckle, glancing side to side nervously] ... see, I respect Matt for being so eloquent. But you have to be very cautious listening to his words. There are those words again! He never said "only"... [/snarky commentary on McCain]
I can't wait to visit that website. After work, after work... 4.9% chance? That's great. The fact that the Dems haven't imploded yet (and even moreso... it seems like the GOP is on the verge of implosion) after watching nothing but implosions over the last 8 years... so exciting.
Hehehe no worries, I was bein' a touch sarcastic in the beginning there anyway. But yea, that FiveThirtyEight.com is a wild place. They take /every/ poll from everywhere in existence and combine them to find trends and get a real sense of the true shape of the election. They even use this model to predict the outcome of the election and things just look worse and worse for McCain. With the debates all over, I can't imagine him finding another event in which he could speak to the masses. He's had his chances to make his points but that's over now.
