Productive Day!
Wow. A very productive day today. Microsoft Vista launch went smoothly. I felt pretty good about the presentation I made on my Vista endcap. With only 5 SKUs all requiring large keepers, I was pretty limited. But I did a decent job. And Courtney inspired me to have Amanda and Stephanie make me several red, yellow, blue, and green balloon bundles. ( Read more... ) -

I didn't feel like working today but yet I managed to have a very productive day. I got the display-stuff filing cabinet organized. It's now alphabetized by vendor which I learned recently is actually the standard. In other news, I got home this evening and got some trash out, started laundry, etc. The usual. Amanda mentioned that my mom had left a message on her phone. She sounded, according to Amanda, like "a different person". I've since returned the call - Amanda's right. Mom's getting out of rehab tonight after 12 days in it. I got to talk to Shonna Oliver today. It really made my day. It's silly, but talking to her on the phone is always such a boost. She seems to remember the best things about who I was back in those days. I wasn't always the best employee, and I look back and I could have driven her nuts with the schedule issues. Busy last couple of days. I got my taxes done yesterday. I'm getting just under $200 back total.. not bad considering that I had a strong suspicion that I'd wind up owing several hundred dollars. In addition to taxes, I got plenty of picking up around the house, most notably the bathroom counter, dining table, and my desk (kind of). The CDs are ( Read more... ) -

Well I had a pretty good day yesterday. For starters, I felt like I'd had a day off. I got the kitchen picked up and laundry almost completely done by noon. Screw You
The one hour photo machine, and everything about it, has been nothing but trouble over the weekend. The 4"matte, 8"gloss, "A" side door, "A" side sensor, SRU unit, both USB readers, chemical replenishment sensors, and #7 roller were down at one point over the weekend. Found this link on a Big Brother community. The blonde? Holly King, from Big Brother5. Somehow, I just can't evade her. Oh well. I think I'm going to go watch some American Idol. They say that Seattle was the worst this year, which only means good things for me tonight.
