where is the section on adultering guests who try to adulterate with the staff? Or don't people actually try that?

Yes, in fact, the guest may approach a staff member with this act in mind! This will normally follow rejection from previous amorous approaches to a a Business Associate. No self respecting concierge will allow him or herself to be a second-choice option by agreeing to such an obviously desperate approach.

In the rare cases where the concierge does agree to such activities, repercussions are both merciless and relentless. I will happily discuss this issue in further installments=)

I should note here that The Concierge Code of Ethics prohibits any such collaboration, without exception.

I distinctly remember an American sailor (male) staying in your hotel in Haymarket who spent most of his stay at the front desk, chatting you up........

By one huge geographical mistake, 2 sailors booked themselves a room at my hotel - well the hotel i worked in up until the friday just gone =). I believe they had wanted to stay in the Syd CBD like the other 200 other sailors, so choosing my motel was a very bad choice in hindsight ( ... )
