So pretty much I suck at multi-tasking. It seems to be physically impossible for me to be a college student, in a sorority, and update my lj at the same time. Whoops.
Here is a list of my problems of the semester.
Problem #1: My total cost of textbooks for this semester's classes totals over four hundred dollars, nearly five hundred. I have one hundred dollars. And my college has made custom textbooks in order to steal more money, leaving students unable to buy the books for these classes anywhere but at the university bookstore. EFFF.
Problem #2: Every sorority has its active members pay dues for each semester, which pay to keep the sorority open and gives money for supplies and other stuff it needs. Mine total $365. Another thing I do not have. Niiice.
Problem #3: Above-mentioned sorority is not going to have a house next year. I'm not going to go into detail, but because we don't have enough people living in the house, we cannot afford our house any longer. Also, there is a much worse problem my sorority has, a very huge problem with the house, but I can't post about that here.
Problem #4: Because of Problem 3, I need a place to live next year. Ideally, all of the people who were planning on living in the house last year are going to move into apartments next year, four bedrooms with two bathrooms, and I want to move into one of with three of my sorority sisters. The three of them have already signed the lease, and put down a security deposit. Which is $305. Which I don't have.
Problem #5: This guy. This guy is my fifth problem. This guy complicates my life and my weekends majorly. Such as Sunday night, when we were supposed to all go out together in a group and party, and then he never showed, and I thought he stood me up, and then my two friends got drunk, and I couldn't get them to leave this frat. Even when my one friend's boyfriend was furious and was telling her to get out, while she was yelling at him and he was punching walls and shit. And then I had to call another friend to help me with my two other drunken friends at four in the morning, and if that wasn't complicated enough, this guy showed up at FOUR-FORTY-FIVE IN THE MORNING, looking for me. And I couldn't even stay mad because he's so damn nice. And very distracting.
Problem #6: Actually, he counts for two problems.
Problem #7: I need a job and have no idea where to find one, but I need it to pay for all of the above stuff. ARGH.
