I'm hanging out in Dallas in the hospital with one of my best friends who is dealing with some of the worst pain of her, or anyone's, life. I could type for hours about what she's been through while trying to have a baby with her husband, but it wouldn't mean much without all of the background and details that i'd rather not go in to. i'm sorry ashley. i'm not nearly as close to her as you are, but even i am constantly glued to the blog and thinking about it the rest of the time. i keep crying when i read some of these entries. i can't imagine how hard it is for you & the friends/family being right there, and even more for matthew and even more for birdi. i wish there was anything i could do besides hope and pray...

my good friend/office-mate maggie was in the office with me when things got critical, and she was with me the whole day as i kept talking about the latest updates, so she got pulled into the intense drama with me. so even a stranger 4000 miles away is rooting for the little one...

i'm glad you are there for her. stay strong - you are doing everything you can to be a good friend <3
