oh ashley. I wish I could rant, but instead of ranting, I'm just kind of sad. yesterday in my IR class we watched a documentary called Promises. It's about Israeli and Palestinean children and it discusses their religion and their feeling towards the opposite side. They meet each other and they get along. and then 3 years later they check in on them again. it's watching children slowly lose their optimism and it shows you how early we learn to hate simply because it's all that we see so it's all that we know. sometimes when I think about the world too much I get really depressed. and then I don't want to think about it, but avoiding it doesn't make it go away. and I'm not sure what I'm trying to say here, but cheers on the rant and I miss you.
