Ok. The past couple of days haven't been very good in the friends dept. I'm going to use lj for exactly what it's meant to be used for...venting, I suppose.

I told Laurel I hated her the other night sort of randomly. There were other things going on...Daniel things. I had been trying to call her for days, and she never answers or calls me back

This is a very soul-searching time in your life. It's that whole "closing one chapter, opening another" one thing. It's a very testy time. I went through it, only it was just a fraction of yours since I didn't go anywhere. I can't imagine picking up my life and starting over somewhere else. It will all fall into place, trust me. You're going to have a blast in college! And if you don't, call me. I'll blow up NC State! (Cause that would make you have a BLAST, get it? Hardy har har.) But no, really. Oh, and as far as the Laurel thing goes, you're right: it happens. Try not to sweat it too much. College is a rapidly changing time.

I know exactly what you mean about wishing your mom were here. Rest assured that she is proud of you because I'M proud of you and I didn't carry you around in my body for 9 months.

I miss you too. I may be visiting State sometime and if I do I will definitely give you a call.

I love you OH so much, and I'm sorry things haven't been going so well. Promise me you will (at least) try to come see me before you go. I'd be devastated if I had to wait til christmas/fall break to see you. Anyway, call me!
