So yeah, I've been writing and writing lately and even though I'm currently in the middle of a scene I decided to take time out to post in LJ at 11:55 pm since I really should be getting to bed due to having to get up for work in the morning.
Currently on page 101 (page 1 is just a list of characters though) with a word count of 51,481 (-127 for that first page). I was sure that I started it over a month ago so I checked the date: "Created: Monday, August 23, 2010 6:12:15 PM" ... It's currently Sept. 20th so that's a little less than a month. I guess I can write 50k words in a month. Maybe I'll actually be able to do it for NaNo WriMo this year. I've failed to "win" the previous two times I've done it. I don't remember my first word count but it sucked... a whole lot of crap happened that Nov. and I was also having a long-term bout of writer's block. Last year I managed to get over 30k words, which was a big improvement, despite a slow start and the flu. One thing last year's NaNo did was help me break out of that stupid writer's block that had lasted several years. This is the second story I've worked on this year (the other was in Feb. and still isn't finished) that reached over 50k words in about a month's time. I have hope that this year I can "win" NaNo.
*sigh* Tracy's been busy downloading Vocaloid pics so I wasted too much time this weekend doing the same. I figure I'll post a couple just to show a few.
