What about free music? I wrote a fucking huge essay on the direct distribution of music so I think I have some authority here. Free Distro + Pay to See = Profit for Indy Artists, okay. But it seems you obviously want to get some money out of it. In that case, you're going for Inversely Direct Distribution (Free to See + Pay to Support = Hardcore Local fans). Either way, it sounds like I'm speaking out of my shithole so what was I talking about? Oh yeah, is this for real? Are you punking us?

If you're not going to make any money, then you should really try direct distribution. Pay $5 for a domain name. Then $10/month for a good host. Or you could stay with PureVolume. But I like what you're doing with this. It sounds great. I'm just recommending direct distro incase you want to gain popularity, or even possibly, get a record deal. What program are you using?

i'm using FL Studio (fruity loops) to make the songs, and then occasionally bringing the songs over to a demo of AVS Audio Editor 2.4 to mess with various effects and change volumes and stuff. Once I'm happy with the music part i send it over to alyssa to put on the lyrics using Anvil Studio.
That's what I thought you were using. I know this is a stupid question but in Fruity Loops, how do you create a song? (I told you it was stupid...) I never could figure out how to get past the 5 second looping thing.
