:-D that's awesome.

Ryland can sleep, eat, cry and would much rather be held and sang and read to than anything else.

:) But I'll bet she way more teeny and cute in that new-mushy sort of way than Sofie :)

Is nursing still going well? You know about the growth spurts every 3 weeks, right?

I'd say besides the lack of sleep it's going pretty well. I'm going to start pumping some soon, bc Jeremy wants to be able to feed her too. yea, she's a big fan of the boob.

I'm so glad to hear that! (well, the part about nursing going well, not the no-sleep part)

I don't know whether or not you were planning on going back to work, or not, but now is the time to pump and build up your supply/freezer stash if you are. Your body is still in the "hormonal milk production" stage, so you'll have lots of extra milk for a few more weeks, until your body gets the signal to produce based on demand.

Once you get past the 6-8 week mark, things should start feeling more "normal", or at least you should feel like you're falling into a routine and adjusting more to your new life with a wee one. I'm glad you have a support system, that makes things a lot easier.

I have GOT to get to the Post Office, darnit, I've had your PIF package sitting in my "work" closet for weeks now!
