hey wain! it would be great if you would come! i bought my tickets off ticketmaster. the camping fee is $24 and a ticket for the entire festival is $114. i think the sooner you buy them the cheaper they are though. and then we would just split gas money or whatever. the festival is the 7-10. i am guessing we would leave the afternoon on the 6th and come home after the fest the same day on the 10th. when do you think you would know by?

ashley! i'm sorry to be a buzzkill, but i just checked out their webpage, and i'm not sure if i'm willing to fork out that kind of cash, and take that kind of time off work for whats going on there.

Thing is, it's a lot more than it looks. There's 14 hours of music a day on multiple stages. It's more than the bands themselves; the individual members get together with each other and do workshops; you might see a group or some fraction thereof performing 4-5 times throughout the event. The selection is good. Some of the groups I enjoyed the most were ones I'd never heard of beforehand.

And the campground itself is worth the trip to be in. People from all over North America to hang out with. A pleasant lake for swimming. Sitting around the fire and/or partying at any hour, if you're into that. And a 96-hour drum jam.
