Oh my gosh life is so much different than I thought it would be.  I'm realizing that I forgot to visualize life after September 07, and that is why it has taken me so long to realize I'm off track.

The last few weeks have been tough.  A lot of teachers that I work and collaborate with have been out because of stressful illness and family emergencies

Poor you.

Honestly, I think that the above outlined problems are the bane of every teacher...you've just come into it, though, and you haven't had time to thicken your skin and harden your heart. Teachers really don't make nearly enough money, and I don't understand how we can pay sports team players 80 squillion dollars to play a f*cking game, but we lay the future of our country in the hands of poorly paid and under-assisted teachers.

I'd say that the first time you get a break at school, you and Ben take off for somewhere quiet and spend lots of time in the fresh air, and when you're not in the fresh air, spend lots of time naked...but that's just my suggestion.

I know things will get better, you just have to hang in there and have faith. It's good that you're putting up with so much, because you're really building up your strength, so that when things do level out, you'll realize that you have a lot inside of you and can put up with a lot.

i had a sally brown moment earlier this week when i just wanted to scream "I"M ESPECIALLY MAD AT STUPID JUMPROPES" and then i thought of you and my wonderful charlie brown cast and the hole in the wall and singing hey jude at rehearsals and instantly i felt better.
