This summer I was privileged enough to spend two months residing on the upper Upper West Side, better known as Harlem. Sadly I will be leaving my summer lodgings this coming Friday, but during my time on Claremont I have learned a great deal about New York outside the Village (yes, it does exist). This, then, is my chance to reflect on these

Someone asked me a good name for a Mexican Place and I said La Cucaracha. HAHA! And they used it =P

3) The only working escalator is the one going the opposite direction that you want to go.

Which sucks after walking a hell of a lot at the Bronx Zoo.

4) Children ride scooters. Fast. Watch out.

It's amazing how much about a city you can learn in one day.
