It has such delightful captions as Alexander the Great being carried up to heaven by two griffins tempted by a piece of meat and Ape mimicking a pedlar (broken).

LJ doesn't want me to upload one, but there's a photo of me holding the book up on Facebook. I haven't been able to sleep again, so I've read half of TSD since midnight. Perfect, perfect. There's one essay on Ligotti I'd not read before, and Joel namechecked me in the acknowledgement: that was touching, and brought back a lot of memories. Even the dustjacket bio mentions "his trademark awful puns... and exotic shirts." I was waiting for this book even before I discovered it was coming out.
