I decided, for the new year, that I would make bread from scratch once a week, rain or shine, busy or not! So far, I have managed to not only manage this each week, but I have also managed to improve steadily over time

Five Roses is an excellant recipe book, thats the one my mom uses most often as well. Especially for breads and other baking goodness

yeah- that is mainly what I use it for, breads and other baking goodness.

Though I got a really awesome muffin book - made coffee date muffins this morning that are wonderful!
