It's been a while...

The smell of a double double from Timmy's permeates the room that I am sitting in - Derek is still sleeping, he probably was up late again. I can hear the cats playing with the new toy I bought them while on my early morning trip downtown to drop the car off at the shop. They are supposed to be repairing the switch for the driver's seat so that I ( Read more... )

I'm glad you're doing well and extremely disappointed that my poor health won out over seeing you for tea AGAIN. I don't know how the universe manages to match up my breaks in health with your visits to the island; it must be some sort of freaky planetary alignment.

I feel like in order to break the cycle I have to come see you or something.

I understand the health thing, though it is unfortunate that it has meant yet another time that we have been unable to get together for tea!
If you ever want to travel to Prince George you have a place to stay- we have a spare room complete with bed and I am sure that we could spoil you rotten for the time that you are here.

Of course, it would mean that you would have to spend time in PG *laughs* I have much tea in my house as well :)

Well, I've never been to Prince George. I've been past it on my way to Alberta a few times, and I've been nearish to it when I went to the Clinton War and then on to 100 Mile House...

...You know, maybe heading up for a weekend or so to check it out wouldn't be all that terrible. I have nothing but time on my hands right now anyway and I'm always up for travelling somewhere no matter how dull it seems.

I lived in Edmonton for four months. Nothing can be as bad as that.

PG is a kind of dirty, smelly place- but there are certainly some nice aspects to it! Weekends are usually really good for me as I work Monday- Friday days for my job.

Other than occasional gaming days, weekends are used mainly for computer geekiness (mmm, Dragon Age), playing Rockband and doing laundry... and reading or crocheting...whatever I manage to get my hands on really. :D

Just let me know what you are thinking and when you are thinking, if it pans out!
