I know, I haven't posted in ages.  Not like anyone really reads my LJ for fun or entertainment though so it's all good.

Did I mention school started again?  Two classes  but we had this week off for the DNC.  Yay DNC.  But only for the early-term break.

Got the tuition people at work straightened out.  I'll get my remaining $127 next Friday.  Yay $

i wonder if you have the same thing wrong with your eye that i do. did it start at the same time as the cold or sometime after? my doctor said pinkeye is caused by the same virus as a cold, it's just in a different place so the germs that have been making my throat hurt all week are now making my eye red and gooey - and you can tell it's pinkeye from a virus (as opposed to bacteria or allergies) because it's usually just in one eye.

if it is the same thing i have then the doctor won't give you anything for it - it has to just run its course like the cold. he said just use cold compresses and artificial tears to make it more comfortable.

will the merger affect your workload at all? maybe help a little?

Did I mention the whole "hoo-hah" infection thing going on? I'm thinking I might have J's "herpes of the eyeball" thing or something! LOL

if that's what you might have then you definitely need to see a doctor as soon as you can. if i remember correctly, she said you can get medication to treat that - and have permanent vision loss if you don't.
