They can now extract stem cells without harming a developing embreyo!
In fertility clinic there is a stage in the process where the doctors take a single cell from the developing egg to test it for genetic diseases, well they can now build stem cell colonies off of these cells--> this procedure doesn't harm and would be done anyway.
Another win. I knew that human enginutiy would trump ignorance soon! woot!
