I find it hard to concentrate. Her scent wafts past me, tingling in my nose. Any pretense I had of getting work done today is just that. ( The easily distracted may want to wait until they get home. )

What is this VSM: R&D and how can we thank them?

VSM is an acronym for "Viva Santa Maria" (reference to my faire guild), and R&D is a reference to Romina and Dorothea, mine and djehutysherit's characters at faire. We may be involved in a slightly illicit lesbian affair. :)

Genuinely, I was attending to my own affairs. No one believes me when I say that, but verily this time it was so. Simply making the bed, tidying the pavillion, humming to myself. Alessandra was out on errands. Caterina was in and out again, wine, sweets, fresh linens in her hands. She and I, then alone in the pavillion, the early summer breeze muffling the sounds of the camp outside ( ... )
