New LJ ToS and DW move

Greetings flisties!

There has been a lot of buzzing about the new LJ terms of service. Some people deleted their lj, others only backed up their journal. After taking a look, I decided I am going to move my fic off lj. I'm stil figuring out dreamwidth, there seem to be different options, like subscribing and granting access and I'm a little confused by it :D But I will muddle through!

Don't forget to create your Open ID first if you are thinking of deleting your journal. It will allow you to comment on LJ but you can't if you delete your journal first. How to create your Open ID is on the FAQs on DW. I'm not deleting my journal, but I'm not posting any new Fic here. It's all very sad.

I'll just keep my lj account. I will just remove the fic that's posted here. And since it's all on dw too it's not really a loss and I'll still get to talk to people. Yeah, it really is sad. I mean, lj has been dwindling for years but this just fucking sucks.

Oh the dragon story was you! It was lovely. I'm on dreamwidth for backing up purposes but i'm not planning on changing anything on LJ. At some point I'll have to save my photos from the scrapbook somewhere else at some point.

Once the summer is over and I'm all JIBbed out, I can return to arting and reading more - can't wait!

SO glad you liked it!
Yeah, I'll keep lj, but the thing in the ToS about accessing and using content makes me nervous. And the versions on ao3 are usually better formatted anyway :D
I plan to keep working on the rbb, so if you want to get back into plotting with me, I'd love that :)
