The meeting in itself didn't break my brain as much as what we get when we add Touya into the mix. Seems like chibi-Sakura is so much smarter than her teenager self.
So either they're going to meet the real Sakura, or there are 3 of them.
It's a good point that it's strange that Touya and Sakura are still related even in Clow-kuni. Where it starts getting really suspicious for me is the fact that from what I can recollect it would seem that chibi-Sakura met chibi-Shaoran after Shaoran had been captured and switched with the clone. Rather than making me think that somehow chibi-Sakura was sneaking out without Touya knowing about it (and then making herself forget about it?), it makes me think that real-Shaoran and real-Sakura came to Clow-kuni together. Before it existed, possibly. Yes I'm still harping on my "Clow-kuni is a construct" theory but I can't see any other way out of these puzzles.
Really, how is it possible that they were ずっと一緒 and then she'd have no memory of any of it? How? And why?
I think Sakura could easily have been acting if she thought it'd be for other Shaoran's welfare (for example, if Clow-ou told her that the best way to deal with a loved one's memory loss was to pretend there was no previous relationship). That's why I keep insisting on how Touya doesn't add up, because from volume 5 it's pretty safe to assume he wasn't acting.
I have my doubts about the nature of Clow-koku as well. The existence of the ruins (plus the fact that Sakura seems to be related to their operation in one way or another) and the name of the country are rather suspicious if you ask me. And why do I keep going back to the idea that Sakura would be completely insane without Clow-koku? (笑)
Maybe they lived together, Sakura and Syaoran in Clow country (brothers? i'm afraif of that) Then something happens and she forgot all! But that is so simple and i know CLAMP will surprise us.
In this story, they allways keep secrets: clow, sakura, her brother, fai shaoran, just kurogane is a good boy here, ne?
More important, i'm worried, will syaoran be ok in the future?
Then something happens [...] I keep getting Fantastic Children vibes when I think of it like this. Actually, all the implications that some Clow failed at what Fei Wang is trying to accomplish could point to that, too. Though if that's the case, I have no idea of hwo it could possibly end well.
Yeah, poor Kurogane. His ninja smarts can't possibly compete with all those with access to privileged information...
If something happens to Shaoran, I don't think -anyone- in Tsubasa will be safe anymore.
