CLAMP fucked up HOLiC? I didn't notice anything unless you're talking about Watanuki's situation.

Sakura's mother... Well since Clow is her father it could be Kaho. Or Nadeshiko. Or Yuuko...

Looks like we might get some answers in this chapter though. And I feel like we might see Watanuki in TRC soon.

Not Holic (yet), the Holic universe. In my opinion, there's something very wrong with an universe where two of the same person come to exist at the same time by natural means. Unless you subscribe to "Shaoran isn't a Shaoran".

Hmm..."Syaoran" we've found out is the son of CCS!Syaoran and CCS!Sakura.

I like your theories, so tell us what's on your mind already! XD

"Syaoran" IS a "Syaoran"?

No fancy theories this time, it's just the space-time collapse thing in my opinion.

Thank you for the translation ^_^

Kaho if Clow-ou's "Eriol" and he is her father, Nadeshiko if Fujitaka is her father, Yuuko if she and Clow really were together and he's really Clow Reed, but I doubt it--Yuuko acts too jilted, and something tells me Clow-ou isn't Clow Reed and that Clow Reed never had a lasting relationship and his only "children" were Yue, Kero-chan, and the Cards. ^_^; , hell as Su-chan sarcastically-joked, CLAMP might throw in another Sakura and Syaoran for good measure XD -- at this point, guessing seems to be futile...

I'm not even going to guess for real...

I'd actually support that. I like parallelism. Besides, no fair if it's junior Reedcest only from Shaoran's point of view. (笑)

I like it for some reason too...can't have too many twins in the CLAMPverse! XD
They'll be like Subaru and Hokuto, only from different dimensions, and apparently in love with each other! ^_^;
Though I'd really prefer if they had their own soulmates and not just repeat their parents' relationship, but with the space-time collapse...maybe this is the only option?

If they -really- are a Sakura and a Shaoran, going by the soulmate concept, this is for the best -- of course, considering they have at least the little bit of luck needed to avert doom.

We can always count on Clamp to keep us breathless and gawking : while all the eyes and minds are tuned on Syaoran, they suddenly switch to Sakura and her parents...
If it ends up that her father is not King Clow, then what? She is not the princess of Clow country either then? Then what? O__o;;;
I think I'd like it *a lot* better if it's Clow though, since I'm VERY curious to know who is his soulmate ^^ I wanna know more about Clow!!!

I feel bad for Clow Reed for saying this, but I don't think he ever got to be with his soulmate (which may very well be Yuuko considering her comments about them being the same) and their parental relationship with the Mokona-tachi. I think (after reading CCS) that he was heavily burdened by his power, and didn't wish to involve others in his life for some reason. He seemed like a very lonely person in a way...maybe he and Yuuko were in love, but it seems he pushed her away and chose death.

I don't think Clow-ou was Clow Reed, since Yuuko and FWR don't refer to him.
It's weird...FWR refers to Sakura not as Clow's blood relative like he does "Syaoran", but as the princess of the desert. Sakura (CCS! and TRC!) is by far closer to Clow than CCS!Syaoran or "Syaoran", so I wonder why he refers to them that way.

Hmmm, the Fujitaka/Clow-ou swap... Maybe it was specifically done to keep the clone under control? Post-rewind Fujitaka was instrumental in the whole "clone's own heart" plan, and I do have a feeling that Seishirou also winded up in Clow-koku because of other Shaoran. Though whatever was the reason for the swap, where did Clow-ou come from?

You have a good point about the lack of reason for Shaoran and Sakura to send little Shaoran off to another dimension, though the CCS world is also the Holic world, so I wouldn't say it's removed from all danger (even more so if you interpret Holic 132 to mean that Watanuki's disappearance would be retroactive). I personally don't subscribe to "Shaoran isn't a Shaoran" no matter what his name is, and your idea would be a good explanation for the existence of two Shaoran in the CCS world without resorting to the collapse of space-time nor breaking all established logic about counterparts.

I'm starting to think we all might be completely mistaken about the nature of the Holic/Tsubasa multiverse.

I think your idea about R!Syaoran is really nice, even though I'm not sure if it's right (CLAMP can mess with our minds very effectively...) I kind of don't like the idea that CCS!Syaoran and CCS!Sakura's son goes to another universe and falls in love with another version of his own mother. It seems somewhat Oedipus-like to me...

And the fact Shaoran recited the guuzen/hitsuzen adage when Sakura commented on it is even more suspicious, at least under my interpretation of hitsuzen.

I think Clow-koku is artificial somehow, and derived from the Holic world (supposing we aren't completely mistaken about the nature of the multiverse and worlds that are completely unrelated or distant enough from the Holic world exist). As to why it exists at all, I'm not sure. Basically, it could exist to keep someone out (protect the power of the ruins) or to keep someone in (protect the Holic world from some psycho -- who in the darkest possibility could be Sakura-hime herself). I interpret Shaoran's mentioning hitsuzen as indication that either he knows the truth about Clow-koku's nature, or Ookawa is signalling us that there's a hidden truth to be found ( ... )
