Its great, I can make out you had fun writing that..
Your refrences to Iambic beat, terameter and unryhmed pentameter have scared me a bit though, when I write write stuff, it just spills out! :/

Don't be scared by the terminology, you don't have to focus on all that stuff.... The most important thing when writing is to express yourself. On the other hand, it can be nice to give the poem a more formal structure. Like, I'm sure I won't always write with this kind of verse (iambic pentameter), but it was nice to do it for the sake of discipline.

And it's helpful to know the terminology so you can describe more exactly what you're talking about.... Otherwise, you have to say, "You know, the rhythm sounds like 'da-DAH da-DAH da-DAH.'

This comment is from my awesome friend Anjou in Mumbai, whom I sadly did not get to meet in person before I left India. She asked me to post it for her because she doesn't have an LJ (but she's going to get one soon, right???) :) Anyway she says:

good ...
sounds like fun
a pentameter run,
jogging a verse
cannot get worse,
good...
its better than
ham when on bread
splayed for greasier
terms like jam......
