P is obviously upset that you, N, and M had other committments at 9:30. They are feeling sorry for themselves since they really didn't have anything better to do, and they're taking it out on you.

The question is, what are your priorities now with regard to P? Do you want to comfort them and cheer them up? Or do you want them to admit that they're acting psycho?
