my dear friend susie tatum and her daughter amanda are running in honor of kelsey tatum (21 years) -who was a patient at st. jude's for 7 years. she went to heaven on sept. 27th, 2006.
susie works for st. jude's- funraising. latest efforts- over $100,000.00.

Oh, bless her heart! I will think of her as I run! A few friends of mine work there fundraising, as well...one of whom is a survivor who was a St. Jude patient.

you are a sweetie!
st jude's is so awesome.
they gave kelsey cutting edge treatment and at least 5 more years with us that she would not have otherwise had.
but what is even more mind blowing is that they DO NOT have a billing dept., and never asked kelsey's family for a penny.
they rely on donations alone.
they are now my numero uno charity.
i will be praying for you!!!
