Find a place like Mailboxes Etc that has PO boxes maybe? Cause I think if you got a PO box here and got mail in it, you'd have to beg someone to go there and get out the mail that's already arrived for you there in order to get it sent to you in Maryland.

I had the same trouble when I moved to Nashville. It makes no sense to me but the PO guy told me it had something to do with homeland security (guessing they don't want mailbombs in POs). So set up a mailbox instead at the UPS store (formerly Mailboxes, Etc) or a similar store that has mail services.

That's two votes for Mailboxes, Etc. (so they all merged with UPS?)

Thanks a lot!

Seems like you've already got a workable answer, but when we moved, we just had the Memphis post office hold our mail, and then after we had an address, we just had them forward it to there.

Worked like a charm for us.

Yeah that was going to be my second option. This way we don't have any delay, though, and can start forwarding before we even get there. I'd rather do that since I have no idea how long it'll take us to get into a place.

WE WILL INVADE YOUR HOME FOREVAR BUAHAHAHAHA

Well, you've got two months easy before I'm paying it forward.
