Bleh?

I've been watching the 4400. And now I'm tired. Not just physically, just all around run down, and I wonder from what? My right arm has been doing funny things when I type, it feels all numb like some big man is sitting on it, cutting off the circulation, quit it you shadow man, have the decency to wait until I'm sleeping to finish the job. Dangit. You have the shadow effigies, and now I've been seeing these rare glints of light randomly. Not spots, or flashes, but vague glints of light. I know it could just be reflections off things, but now I've been catching them in my room. I've been living here for how long, and I've never seen them before. =<

I'd rather have nasty shifting shadows than vague glints of light. Erf!

Shadows ever-present behind my back, beneath my feet, softly wallowing in periph'ry. Slightly pushy, and, perhaps, lestively unannounced.

I watch the 4400. Had to record it last night 'cause Six Feet Under was on. Going to watch it today, but I heard that people were pissed off at the ending. Without giving away anything, how'd you feel about it? I understand it was the series finale. Too bad.

You're safe from the shadows at night when two conditions are met:
1) Your closet door is most-definitely closed.
2) Your feet are under the covers.
Apart from those, close your eyes and they *probably* can't hurt you.

I actually liked the ending - it echoes some of my beliefs so.. yeah, I liked it a lot and it was more believable than other options they could have run with. =)
As for those shadows, yeah, it's whenever I open my eyes at night that they come get me, closet door closed or not =P

Got to watch 4400 today; I liked the ending. My mom and I actually laughed happily at it (ie bending trees). I really really wanted to learn more about the Lex Luthor guy.

Someone online dropped a hint that it might come back for another "season," but for the accuracy of this I make no claim. It would be nice; there's a lot more they can do.

I know what you're talking about. I think I get a different sort than you, because mine are a rather thick and oily build-up from the damage to my own integrity and self-respect. Needless to say, the dark-shadow build-up is closing in on me nowadays, and its hard to breathe when I try to sleep.

You'd think that alcohol would be poison enough to wash some of it away, but it really just causes some strange chemical reaction and hardens it like cement.

Yeah, but at least with the alcohol it doesn't move any more - can't take you by surprise. Just solidifies into something very revealing. Sometimes I can't breathe when I try to sleep too, or in my dreams, I'm forgetting how to breathe and wake up almost suffocating myself ;)
