Trust me-- when everyone graduates, they'll all pretend you were so close. People you barely knew will say "keep in touch!" But very few of your friends will actually keep in touch for more than the first month of college. Right now I talk to about 4 people from my graduating class, and none of them very often.

Glad you had a good prom and didn't let the friendship issues get you down.
