I don't really want to make the entry about how lonely Brooklyn is, or how Pratt pisses away my money and gives me a shitty adjunct-professor only education, or how Rocky tried to break up with me, and then wisely recanted, so....I'll just post some pictures.

Laura came up for Martin Luther King weekend. We try to spend this together every year. I finally got kinda cold. We went on a walk of all walks in Brooklyn, ending at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. We tried to go to the Brooklyn Museum of Art, but the wait had to be at least 2 hours.

This is a Civil War memorial arch. This photo was taking with a new technique of mine. I would frame Laura with her arm outstretched and then jump in the frame too. Really successful.

Laura really wanted to see the bonsai. Most look like this.

Cool, sure. But typical bonsai cool. It got no thumbs up.

Then there was this one. It got one thumb up for having full size leaves changing colors.

OMG! But then there was this one. It's growing on top of a huge rock. How did they do it?!!?

Than Jake called, and I gave that phone call a thumb up too.

Jake met us and we walked up to a Korea restaurant. The NYT review gave it a very low price rating. Some how our bill was $80+. Wtf. Turns out the pots of green tea were $4 each. That's so expensive. $12 for tea on the bill is a turn off. Do not go to Noo Na.

Anyway, that was that weekend. Perhaps a more hard hitting entry will follow.
