the grass is always greener... i am already sweating balls because of the humidity here, and it's not even summer yet. as soon as you walk outside you feel like you need to take a shower, and everything sticks to you.... miserable. already!

except that the high in Norman tomorrow is going to be 48, and it's supposed to fucking snow on Saturday. don't get me wrong, I like cold weather, but when it's warm it needs to stay warm. I hate thinking it's going to be 70s+ from here on out, and then having to break out the sweaters again.

when i got on the plane last night, i was wearing jeans and flip flops, and the jeans were a half-hearted nod to the fact that united loves to freeze their customers; i'd been wearing sun dresses all week. i got here and i could see my breath. did i mention i want to go back? eff this weather.

but love new york, baby. it loves you. it just doesn't know how to show it.

My Dad was a transplant from Nashville, TN.

Later on, probably while I was in college, he told me that every year when winter would come on, he would get depressed and stay that way for months.

It's not just you.
